A group portrait of young Moroccan biker women posing with their bikes and wearing kaftans and matching hijabs with contrasting face coverings. The image was curated and photographed by Hassan Hajjaj. The sitters are a group of friends; he describes them also as his muses. Hajjaj created the outfits using fashionable clashing fabrics in stark contrast to the traditonal shapes of the garments. It was shot in Marrakesh and is part of the ‘Kesh Angels’ series. Photographic print in walnut frame with tin can inserts, collected as part of the Fashioning Africa project.
